Meets 3rd Monday of every month at 7 pm at the Grange
On April 16, 2008 the Conservation Commission voted unanimously to approve the formation of the Water Resources Subcommittee.
Water Resources Management Committee
Charter
- A Sub-committee of the Henniker Conservation Commission
- The purpose of the Water Resources Management Sub-committee is to study and
make recommendations for the protection of the Henniker’s Water Resources.
- Activities will include:
- Updating the 1989 Water Resource Management and Protection Plan and expand
where appropriate.
- Working towards an aquifer/groundwater protection ordinance with consideration
of the 1989 plan’s recommendations.
The Conservation Commission’s goal is to have an ordinance ready for town
meeting in 2009.
